Nancy Estella (Nodding) Wentworth

Nancy Estella (Nodding) Wentworth, 72, July 13, 2026, peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital with family at her side. Born May 8, 1954, the daughter of the late Norman Wentworth and Marguerite (Norman) Wentworth. Nancy loved being with friends and family, she always had a smile and loved to share a laugh and a joke.

Nancy worked as a bus driver for 30 years. She loved "her kids" on the bus and her bus driver crew, spending most days hanging out in the driver’s room. Nancy was always on the go, not one to worry about weather, she would often "run the roads" to go shopping when schools were shut down. Nancy spent summers at Birney’s Lake where she had a camp. Spending the days lazily floating in the lake, tending to Nonnie’s garden and asking, "Does anybody want a cheeseburger?" In her later years, Nancy enjoyed the companionship of her loving dog, Sissy.

More than anything, Nancy loved her family. Getting together on Sundays for dinner at her parents’, hosting family gatherings at Birney’s Lake, and planning Christmas and Thanksgiving meals. Nancy loved having family and friends over to spend time with them.

Nancy is survived by her daughters Vicky (Nodding) Wilcox (Tommy), Katherine (Nodding) Grant (Matthew), her brother William Wentworth (Susan), her sister Tammy (Wentworth) Cook, her grandchildren Izabella, Ian, William, James, John and her best friend Lynda Morton.

Nancy is predeceased by her father and mother, her first husband Robert (Bobby) Micheal Nodding and her foster brother Tracy Green.
