He was predeceased by his great-grandparents: Francis and Sharon Needle, Oles Nani Maxine Gillespie; great-uncle: Kevin; and dear friend: Bobby Macfarlane.

Keevin was an old soul who was loving, full of life and had a smile that would light up every room. He recently graduated from Fundy High School and was extremely proud of this accomplishment. Being a "Ma’s Boy", Keevin didn’t do anything without talking to his Ma first. He constantly blew up her phone calling her at all hours and she looked forward to every call. Keevin loved to work on things and was currently learning all about heavy equipment with his stepfather Corey. He also had a passion for the outdoors and was learning to hunt with his uncle Greg, which he excelled at.

Keevin loved his family and devoted his time to them when he could. He loved picking up his grandmother Shirley, "Nanny Bird" and taking her anywhere she needed to go. He was always checking in and running errands for his sister Paige (his mother hen) and his little buddy Myles, who he adored; he truly was her biggest help and fan. Keevin was a big-hearted, busy body who checked in on everyone every day. Everyone in the family expected his call or facetime regularly. His special brother Weston and him had a connection that everyone knew was undeniable. Despite the distance between them, his late talks and playing video games with his brother Noah, kept them closely bonded.

Fishing, hunting, swimming, boating and biking were passions that he couldn’t get enough of. Keevin was an animal lover who truly loved his dogs and his drooly old cat.

Mya was the love of his young life and any excuse or reason to be with her, on or off the island, he would find it. They would house sit, dog sit, babysit for Kailey and had many other adventures together on Grand Manan.

Cutting wood in Bonny River with his dad was a big part of his life. He confided in Marissa and he had deep trust with her. When able he loved going to lunch with Nani and Grampy and going to the movies with his favourite movie man, Grampy.
