Robert Boudreau
1949-2025
The passing of Robert Boudreau of Blacks Harbour NB occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on August 1, 2025. Born at Concession Nova Scotia on December 18, 1949. He was a son of the late Lucian and Edna LeBlanc (Boudreau).
A loving father, grandfather, brother and special friend, he is survived by his daughters Stacie McGraw (Rodney) of Blacks Harbour NB and Suzanne Boudreau of Singapore, his grandchildren Zachary, Seth and special chosen grandson Matthew Hall and special companion Darlene Robichaud, his siblings: Peter (Alice) Boudreau of Beaver Harbour NB, Norman (Irene) Boudreau of Belliveau Cove NS, Rolland (Christina) Boudreau of Concession NS, Neil (Sharon) Boudreau of Beaver Harbour NB, Mariette Byzewski (Emile Dugas) of Concession NS, Audette Anthony of Dartmouth NS and Simone Maillett (Mike) of Salmon River NS, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a nephew Marty and his brother in law Wesley.
Prior to his retirement Robert worked as an
industrial mechanic by trade for Connors Bros and worked for the
maintenance department for several years both in Beaver Harbour and
Blacks Harbour as well as the Village of Blacks Harbour Public Works
Department.. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing
as well as travelling and going on long drives. His favorite time of
year which he enjoyed very much was a trip to the camp with the boys
for the moose hunt. Later in life he acquired the love and the art of
gardening. He was known to grow so of the greatest tomatoes. He was
also a former member of the Eastern Charlotte Lions Club and The
Knights of Columbis. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who
knew him.
Arrangements in the care of
the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George
NB. A graveside service will be held at Stella Maris Catholic Cemetery
on Thursday at 2:00pm. In Robert’s memory donations to the
