Yvonne Marie Boulanger

The passing of Yvonne Marie Boulanger of Saint John NB occurred on December 15^th, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Roland and Marie (Belliveau) Boulanger.

Yvonne is survived by her children, Eric Boulanger (Brielyn) of Shawnigan Lake BC. Julian Vance of Halifax NS. Sabrina Vance (Justin) of utopia NB. Her treasured grandchildren, Hudson, Gradie, Allie, Noah, Abbie, Easton and Asher. Sister Roseanne Murphy (Ian) Spruce Grove AB, niece Courtney Scott (Kevin) of Calgary AB. Several aunts, uncles, and many cousins. Yvonne also had many friends who she considered to be like family, specifically the Densmore family.

Prior to moving to Saint John, Yvonne grew up in Milltown and lived in the Fredericton area for many years. Yvonne dedicated her life to her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She loved spending quality time with them and was known to check in on a regular basis. Yvonne had a huge heart and cared deeply for others, she had a soft spot for animals and just people in general. Yvonne had a witty sense of humour and had the ability to make people laugh, often without even realizing it. Yvonne was passionate about her hobbies, she loved doing crossword puzzles, caring for her many plants and watching movies on Netflix. She had a sweet tooth and enjoyed a good iced cap from Tim’s. Even though she had limited mobility she was always able to keep up with the latest information around town.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses for the care and compassion she received in the ICU at the Saint John Regional Hospital. A very special thanks to Bruce and Katrina Drost for welcoming Yvonne into their lives and showing her exceptional love, care and compassion.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (506-755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. In keeping with Yvonne’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. A celebration of her life will be held in the spring. In her memory, donations to the SPCA, CA-R-MA or to your local animal shelter would be greatly appreciated by the family.
