He was born on the 5th of July 1954 to Edna and the late Christopher Koteff at Blacks Harbour NB and lived most of his life in Pennfield NB, close to his maternal relatives, but also had the opportunity to live near his paternal relatives in Toronto ON for a few years of his childhood.
Chris was known for his sense of humor, craftsmanship and the love for his family. After graduating from E.C.R.S, he became a welder. He enjoyed his trade and applied it to numerous projects and businesses throughout his career. His attention to detain and concern for quality work were clear in every project he undertook. Everyone knew that if Chris worked on something, it would be carefully constructed to last forever.
After he and Kathy retired, he shifted his focus to some of his favorite pastimes; antique car restoration with Brian, landscaping as well as spending time with his family.
