Heather Searles

 

 

The unexpected passing of Heather Gail (Davidson) Searles, beloved wife of Niles W. Searles of Pennfield NB occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital, St Stephen NB on October 25, 2024. Born at Pembroke ON. on January 17, 1959, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Marie E. Murphy. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by her husband Niles, one daughter; Denise Lank (Junior Blanchard) Blacks Harbour and her son Norman Lank of Saint John NB, two grandchildren: Daniel Lank of Blacks Harbour, and Cameron Lank of Toronto ON, her two sisters: Cammy Hooge of Deer Island and Kathy McBride (Perry Rubin) of St Stephen NB as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents.

  Prior to her retirement Heather worked for more than 45 years for Connors Brothers, both in Campobello and Blacks Harbour as a packer. She loved doing crafts and spending time in the company of her feline mate Gorgeous. Heather looked forward every year to wreathing season and working for Debbie Barry. In her younger years Heather enjoyed garage gatherings with her friends listening to the the Diablos "when they lived in St Stephen" and hanging out at Larry and Joanies here in Pennfield. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her.

  Resting at the St George Funeral Home and Crematorium Ltd. (755-3533),
 26 Portage Street, St. George NB with visiting on Wednesday from 12 noon until service time at 2:00pm from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Greg Card officiating. In Heathers memory, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association ,New Brunswick Chapter or a charity of the donors choice will be greatly appreciated by the family.
