Rosemary Sheila Harris

The passing of Rosemary Sheila (Gowan) Harris, beloved wife of Lyon G.A. Harris of Prince Of Wales NB occurred at Bobby’s Hospice, Saint John NB on September 13, 2024 with her loving family by her side. Born at St. Stephen NB on August 10, 1964, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth H. and Sheila G (Oliver) Gowan.

   A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister she is survived by her husband Lyon of Prince Of Wales, her beloved daughter Victoria (James) Nickerson of Rothesay NB, her beloved sons: William (Sasha) Harris of Hammonds Plains NS and Andrew Harris (Lynse Moisey) of Sterling County. AB, 8 Grandchildren: Keadrin, Kamryn, Alec, Amelia, Owen, Evelyn, Kinley and Faena, her siblings: Keith (Pam) Gowan of Goulds NL, Peter Gowan of St Andrews, Pearl Morrell of Keirsteadville NB and Marguerite (Randy) Losier of St Andrews NB as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents Ken and Sheila.

   Rosemary will be remembered as a caring loving wife, mother, homemaker and family matriarch. She will be also remembered as a kind loving person who couldn’t sit on a bench without making a friend or drive by a value village without stopping. She enjoyed selling things at antique shows and weekly flea markets. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her.
   Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB.In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of life will be held at a time and place to be announced. In Rosemary’s memory, and in lieu of flowers donations to Bobbys Hospice will be appreciated by the family.
