Robert Andrew McFarlane

The passing of Robert-Andrew "Bobby" McFarlane of Canal NB occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on July 30, 2024. Born in Oromocto NB on October 9, 1974, he was a son of Barbara (McNally) McFarlane and the late Lawrence D. McFarlane.

Bobby will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Barbara McFarlane of Canal; his brothers: Shawn McFarlane of Saskatoon SK, Douglas (Gayle) McFarlane of Carolyn AB and Norman McFarlane of Canal NB; his kindred spirit: Mary Daley of Paradise NL; one aunt: Janet Paquin-McFarlane of Truro NS; his uncles: Robert McNally of Gagetown NB and Donald (Monica) McNally of Fredericton NB; his godfather: Richard McFarlane of Maces Bay, NB and several cousins.

Bobby was sadly predeceased by his father, Lawrence McFarlane.

Bobby worked for several employers in the local area until he moved to Saskatchewan, where he worked for Kindersley Bearing in the shipping and receiving department. A collector, Bobby had endless hot wheels, matchbox cars and comic books. In his spare time, he enjoyed writing poetry and he also competitively played the aboriginal game, Bones.

Resting at St. Marks Anglican Church, St. George NB with visiting on Saturday from 6-8 pm. The service will be held at the church on Sunday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mary Anne Langmaid officiating. In Bobby’s memory, donations to Charlotte County Cancer or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
