Susan Ann Wilcox

1956-2024

Susan Ann Wilcox

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Ann (Latter) Wilcox on July 23, 2024 with the blessing of her family.  Susan is survived by her husband, partner and best friend of 50 years, Peter.  She is also survived by her pride and joy, her daughter, Rebecca Levesque.

In addition to her only child she is survived by her beloved son-in-law Mircea Levesque and her treasured grandbabies Mabel and Jack.  She also leaves behind her sister Deborah (Roger) Boucher and brother Tim (Kathy) Latter, as well as many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.  Susan was predeceased by her mother Shirley (Smith) Latter, who she lost at the age of 2, her father Gordon Latter and her mother Florence (McLaren) Latter.

Susan's greatest joy in life was her family.  She and Peter were inseparable and shared a life filled with so much love, support and fun.  From travelling, to camping, to road trips, to boating they did it all together, always returning home with new stories and inside jokes.  She was an exceptional mother and grandmother. She would always listen, support, encourage and give advice when she was asked.  She will be forever missed by her much adored  grandchildren Mabel and Jack, to whom she was known as "Gum".

Susan was creative, artistic, a talented baker and a lover of sunshine and fresh air.  Many people got to know her friendly and caring personality during the years she worked at the Pharmacy.  She enjoyed those years very much as well as the years that followed when she would walk through town daily and run into people she hadn't seen in years.

She will be forever missed but she leaves behind people who are so full of love and gratitude for her.  She was an amazing example (Thank you Mom).
