A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and sister-in-law; Dot will be forever cherished by her husband of almost 44 years, Jeff; one son, Cody Hanley of Utopia NB; the lights in her life, her grandchildren, Ashlynn and Harrison; sisters, Gertrude (George) Paul, Betty Marshall, Patricia (Ronnie) Roy and Jane (Brian) Ward all of St. George NB; brothers, Dale Hatt of Pennfield NB, Allan (Imelda) Hatt of Utopia NB, Brian (Peggy) Hatt of St. George NB and David (Beth) Hatt of Utopia NB; a large loving in law family; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Dot was predeceased by her brothers, Arnold, Kenny and Colin.

Dot worked several jobs over the years but found great joy in being a hairdresser for 36 years, with many of her clients becoming like family. Her greatest enjoyment and best times in life were being with her grandchildren, Ashlynn and Harrison. Dot loved boating, skidooing, biking, shopping, gardening, baking, collecting anything with Flip Flops on it, and spending time with her family and friends. Everyone who knew Dot would tell you she had a heart of gold!! She spent many fun days at her trailer, where she loved playing games with her friends and loved ones. When able, Dot could be found driving around in her golf cart with her grandkids and four-legged companion, Frankie, in tow. She was a member of the Sea View Full Gospel Church in Back Bay for many years and enjoyed being a Sunday School teacher there.
