Joseph "Henry" Legacy

The passing of J. "Henry" Legacy, beloved husband of Brenda (Justason) Legacy occurred at his residence on April 26, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born at Lepreau NB on February 19, 1946, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Guitard) Legacy.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, he is survived by his wife Brenda of Pennfield NB, his daughter Lacey (Duane) McCullough of Pennfield NB, his grandson: Johnny Vantassel, his granddaughter; Chantel Kernighan, great grandson; Asher, his brothers: Lester, James and Jack, his sisters: Margaret Pitre, Mary and Agnes Legacy as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers: Walter, Fred and Joey.

Prior to Henry’s retirement, he worked for 30 years at Lake Utopia Paper. Henry lived a simple life and enjoyed everything that surrounded him. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved each of them, especially his great grandson Asher. Henry was also an avid listener and loved bluegrass music. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (506-755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Visitation will be held from the St. George Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 30,2024 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. In keeping with Henry wishes there will be no Funeral Service.
