Besides Wanda, his wife of 45 years, Tim is survived by his sons: Adam (Cara) Hatt of Blacks Harbour NB and Abraham Hatt of Grand Prairie AB; grandchildren: Abby, Gavin, Daniel, Harley and Nova, his siblings, in which he was the youngest: Larry Hatt of Fredericton, Laurel (Edward) Phillips of Hampton NB and Gregg (Barb) Hatt of Fredericton NB; his four legged best friend, Diesel; and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Tim was also a loving brother-in-law to: Bruce (Nancy) Buchanan, Twylla (Ronnie) Justason, Stacey (Mitchell) Dooks and Brad Newsham (Julie Burley). In addition to his parents, Tim was predeceased by his father and mother-in-law: Neil and Edna Buchanan; and sister-in-law: Denise Newsham.

He worked a long career as an Electrician, having worked in many locations including Connors Brothers in Blacks Harbour, and both T. Spear Electrical and Mowi in St. George. Tim was the only Tri-Certified Electrician in the area, having been certified for Residential, Industrial and Marine. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, four wheeling, snowmobiling, and just puttering around the yard with his grandchildren. He had many fond memories of moose hunting with his friends and especially his sons. Since retirement, Tim loved nothing more than spending time with his loved ones at the cottage at Woodbury’s Cove.  He had a love for music, mainly Country and was known to be a diehard Star Trek fan. His love and devotion to his family will be sadly missed.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit and at Bobby’s Hospice for their compassion and care of Tim.
