The passing of Tammy Mae (Hooper) Munn, wife of Rick Munn of Pennfield NB, occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on February 21, 2024. Born in Scarborough ON on March 5, 1971, she was a daughter of Winnifred Hooper-Paul and the late Alfred "Al" Hooper.
A loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend to many, Tammy will be forever missed by her husband, Rick; her children: Cody and Alexis; her mother: Winnifred Hooper-Paul; step-mother: Brenda Hooper; siblings: Chad Hooper (Ke), Gary Orser (Kathy), Richard Orser (Trena) and Laurie Orser (Courtney); three very special little girls that meant the world to Tammy: Milo, Tav and Kai; also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. Tammy was sadly predeceased by her father, Alfred "Al" Hooper.
Tammy was employed with the Anglophone South School District as a bus driver. She truly loved her job and all the children on her run quickly became her own. She would often spend half her pay buying her "bus children" items they needed for school, be it snacks or even school supplies. Tammy had a heart of gold and always left a lasting impression on those she met. It wasn’t uncommon for her and Rick to just take off on spur of the moment road trips or more recently, to be out on the trails on their side by side. Where one was, so was the other. Her love of life, laughter and devotion to her family will be missed by all until we meet again.
The family would like to thank many in the local area for
their support over the last few weeks. The community has provided so
much care and support, not only to Tammy, but to her family as well,
and it has honestly left us speechless.
