Stephanie Angela Thomas

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stephanie Angela Thomas announces her passing on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born in Blacks Harbour, NB on February 23, 1965, she was a daughter of the Late Lewis and Jean (Thorne) MacVicar.

Stephanie is survived by her loving husband, Glendon, of Wards Creek, NB; her children: Amanda (Jason) Slipp of, NB, and Terry (Elizabeth) Brown of Central Blissville, NB; her grandchildren: Brandy, Kiara, Noah, and Terrilynn Brown; her siblings: Stephen (Dorothy) MacVicar, Ronald (Cheryl) MacVicar, Brenda (the late Bob) Waring, Ada (John) Barry, Ethel (Darren) Boudreau, Muriel (the late Harry) McLaughlin, and Audrey (the late Carmen) LeBlanc; and her brother-in-law, Jason (Cherie) Smith. Stephanie is also survived by her two aunts, Joanne Chevarie and Mary Thorne as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides her parents, Stephanie was predeceased by her brother, Jerry, and her sisters and brothers-in-law: Leona & Brent Cochran, Greta & Wally Wright, and Jeannie & Roy Greer; her brother-in-law, David Thomas; and her mother-in-law, Gertie Thomas.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). A celebration of life will take place at the St. George Legion, Branch # 40, St. George NB on Saturday, January 6 at 2 PM.
