William "Scott" Henderson

The passing of William "Scott" Henderson, husband of Donna M. (Paul) Henderson, occurred at his Seeleys Cove residence on January 1, 2024. Born in Blacks Harbour NB on November 20, 1957, he was a son of the late Arthur and Marion (Bright) Henderson.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, he is survived by his loving wife Donna; sons: Michael Henderson of Seeleys Cove and Jared (Sam) Henderson of Blacks Harbour NB; daughter: Nicole (Steve) Duncan of Salt Springs NB; grandchildren: Jenna, Aidan, Austin, Connor and Ava; two great grandchildren: Adalynn and Gabriel; brother: Brad (Janet) Henderson of Seeleys Cove; sister: Carol (Brad) Vye of Saint John NB; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Scott was predeceased by his parents.

Scott was a heavy equipment operator by trade, operating an excavator for several years throughout the province for various companies, including Debly’s construction, whom he was presently employed by. Scott was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a fondness for horses. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and he will be sadly missed by his loving family and all who knew him.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (506-755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. In keeping with Scott’s wishes there will be no visitation. A celebration of Scott’s life will be held from the St. George Funeral Home Chapel on Friday at 11:00 am. In Scott’s memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
