Thomas "Tom" Allen Chambers

The passing of Thomas Allen Chambers, husband of Theresa M. (Schmitz) Chambers of Second Falls, occurred peacefully at the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews NB, on December 7, 2023. Born at Blacks Harbour NB, on October 26, 1953, he was a son of the late Carl and Lila (Kinney) Chambers.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, he is survived by his loving wife Theresa, his children: Carl (Danielle) Chambers of Second Falls NB, Mandy (George) Ridgley of Bonny River NB; grandchildren: Alex Ridgley (Rebecca), Jacob Ridgley, Brock Chambers, Lila Chambers; one brother, Charles (Clara) Chambers of Second Falls; one sister, Sharon (Kenny) Stevens of Second Falls, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by sisters: Patsy and Susie Chambers.

Prior to retirement Tom was employed with the Department of Transportation, on the striper road crew. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting, fishing, and cutting firewood. Tom was a family man and cherished his time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Tom worked seasonal and spent the rest of the year doing many of the outdoor things he enjoyed to do, living life at its fullest. The hunting camp that he built with his friends and family is where he loved to spend the majority of his free time. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

The family would also wish to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of the Passamaquoddy Lodge for their kind, compassionate and professional care shown to Tom.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (506-755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. In keeping with Tom’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. In Tom’s memory, donations to Parkinsons Foundation of New Brunswick or a Charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
