The passing of Sheridan Wayne Barry of Caithness NB occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on November 28, 2023. Born in Saint John NB on August 5, 1974, he was the son of Raleigh Barry and Cheryl Beaudry. A loving son, father, brother,uncle, nephew and friend, Sheridan is survived by his mother: Cheryle Beaudry (Arnold Irving) of Lake George NB; father: Raleigh Barry (Louise Jay) of Oak Bay NB; his son: Zackary Barry and his mother and family, Amanda Aymar, Destiny and Sawyer; sister: Shawna Tuddenham (Todd) of Oak Bay NB; nephews: Blake, Ethan and Lucas Tuddenham; uncles: Elwood Barry (Brenda), Ross Barry, Greg Barry (Holly Martin), Danny Beaudry (Hazel) and Kyle Beaudry (Krista); aunts: Glenna Ross (Harold), Debbie Ingalls (Earl), Peggy Barry and Sandra Barry; and many cousins and countless friends.

Sheridan was sadly predeceased by his loving step-mother: Judith Ann Barry.

Sheridan was currently employed with Cooke Aquaculture in St. George. He was very active and loved hunting, fishing, playing baseball and especially playing hockey. He was a kind and compassionate soul who loved his family with everything he had and loved nothing more than spending time with his son, Zackary, who was his pride and joy. Sheridan was proud to be from Charlotte County and didn’t usually venture very far from it. He enjoyed a good game of cards, usually Crib, with his family and friends at Christmas time. His love, devotion and infectious grin will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his family and many friends.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (506-755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. There will be a graveside service held at the St. George Catholic Cemetery, Upper L'Etang NB on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating. A celebration of Sheridan’s life will follow at the St. George Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 40 from Noon until 2:00 pm. In his memory, donations to Charlotte County Cancer, your local Chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous or to Charlotte County Minor Hockey would be greatly appreciated by the family.
