Robert Valentine Denley

The passing of Robert Valentine Denley, beloved husband of Mary P. (McKay) Denley occurred peacefully at his home on Friday, November 24,2023. Born at Bayside NB, on February 14,1958. He was a son of the late Floyd E. and Joyce B. (Storr) Denley.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, Robert is survived by his loving wife Mary; his children: Amy(Jim) Denley-Bryant of St. George NB, Christine  (Dave) Boudreau of Waweig NB, Robin Denley (Gordon Charlotte) of Canal NB; Step children; Krystal Kernighan (Timmy Leavitt) of Utopia NB and Dale Scott of Ontario; grandchildren: Anthony (Brittney), Jarred (Abby), Grace, Ethan, Megan, and Dalton; his siblings: Susan (Dan) West of St. Stephen, Marjorie (John) Chippet of NFLD, Joseph Denley of St. Stephen, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister Stella Denley.

Prior to his retirement Robert worked as a labourer both self-employed and for Northern Harvest. An avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also known as a hard worker, and he also enjoyed life at its fullest. He loved his family, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (506-755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the funeral home with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 pm. In keeping with Robert's wishes, there will be no funeral service. In Robert’s memory, donations to  a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
