Kimberly Ann Johnson

1965-2023

Kimberly Ann Johnson

The passing of Kimberly Ann Johnson of Canal NB occurred unexpectedly at her home on November 13, 2023.  Born in Blacks Harbour NB on December 24, 1965, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Munn) Johnson. A loving mother, sister, aunt and friend, Kimberly is survived by her special friend: Blair Cheronoff of Canal NB; her daughter: Tiffany Johnson of Canal NB; one grandson; sisters: Karen (Ronald) Belliveau of Blacks Harbour NB and Kathy Guitard (Shane) of Beaver Harbour NB; brother: Eddy Guitard of Blacks harbour NB; long time friend: Larry Bennett of Canal NB; special niece: Valene Daley (Troy Boyd) of Pennfield NB; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins. In addition to her parents, Kim was predeceased by granddaughter: Jackie McCombie; aunt and uncle: Anne and Donald Van Horne; aunt: Mary Johnson; and her step-father: Edgar Guitard.

Prior to illness, Kim worked a number of years with Connors Brothers in Blacks Harbour and later as a home care worker with Kindred Home Care. A loving and giving soul, Kim always took care of others before herself. She loved children and was known to drop off random gifts to local children whenever she could. Kim enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and watching her old shows, especially Gilligan’s Island. When able, Kim loved to go for drives and enjoyed listening to country music. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and especially her four-legged companion, Kizzy.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (506-755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the funeral home with public visiting on Thursday 6-8 pm. In Kim’s memory, donations to the IWK or to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
