Daniel "Danny" Gerald Bradley

The passing of Daniel Gerald Bradley, loving husband of Alicia J. (Cooke) Bradley of Pennfield NB occurred at Bobby’s Hospice, Saint John NB on November 5, 2023, following a brief illness with his family at his side. Born at Fredericton NB on August 10, 1961, he was a son of Gerald O. Bradley and the late Rosalie (Stairs) Bradley.

A loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle, in addition to his wife, Alicia, Danny is survived by his son: Ashton Bradley of Pennfield NB; his father: Gerald Bradley of Mexico; brother: Timmy (Carrie) Bradley of Alberta; sister: Jolene Bradley also of Alberta; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, and his faithful companion, Piper. Besides his mother, Rosalie, Danny was predeceased by one of his lifelong friends, Mark Simpson.

Prior to Danny’s retirement two years ago, he had a 40 year career at Lake Utopia Paper as an Operator. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing and was also a member of the St. George Curling Club. Danny was a sports fan who had a passion for hockey. He played during his youth and early adulthood in Blacks Harbour with both Minor Hockey as well the Junior and Fundy Leagues. Danny’s greatest love was his family and he cherished every moment he was able to spend with them. His love and devotion to his family will be greatly missed.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Burnell and the Oncology Team at the Saint John Regional Hospital, the staff of Charlotte County Hospital, Eastern Charlotte Extra Mural and Bobby’s Hospice, as well as their family and the support of the community during Danny’s illness. Your support and love never went unnoticed.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (506-755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the Sea View Full Gospel Church, Back Bay NB with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The service will be held from the Church on Thursday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating. In Danny’s memory, donations to Charlotte County Cancer or Bobby’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
