The passing of Jeffrey Dale Wilcox of Back Bay NB occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on June 15, 2023. Born in Blacks Harbour NB on July 18, 1962, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Laura (Anthony) Wilcox. Jeffrey is survived by his three sons: Shaun Carew (Bobbi) of Nova Scotia, Matthew Conrad (Megan) of Nova Scotia and Ryland Priest of Sussex NB; one brother: Douglas Wilcox of Utopia NB; sisters: Sandra (Roger) Harris of Utopia NB, Elaine Scovil of Hampton NB, Carol (Jerry) Leavitt of Back Bay NB and Diana (Wayne) Vance of Canal NB; his special friends: Nona Russell, Angela Coleman-Gray and Yvonne Lloyd; and by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Jeffrey was predeceased by one daughter: Amanda; and by siblings: Allison Wilcox and Wanda Wilcox.

Prior to illness, Jeff worked with Atlantic Towing for 35 years as a cook. He truly loved his job as his career allowed him to travel worldwide. In his free time, Jeff enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his son, Ryland, and cooking for his family and friends.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the funeral home with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating followed by the interment in the Pennfield Rural Cemetery. In Jeff’s memory, donations to Charlotte County Cancer or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
