Jane Lois Hatt
1949-2023
Surrounded by her family, the passing of Jane Lois (Goss) Hatt, wife of Brian Hatt of St. George, occurred at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Saint John, NB on May 1, 2023.
She was the daughter of John and Lois (Lee) Goss, loving Mother to Troy Hatt (Sheri Vallis) of St. George NB and Amy Shea (Todd) of Elginburg ON; Devoted Grandmother to Jeremy Hatt (Krystin Mann) of Charlottetown PE, Hailey and Hunter Shea of Elginburg ON, and Logan Hatt of St. George NB; She was blessed with a Great-Grandson: Elias Hatt of Charlottetown PE; siblings: Patricia Negus (Wayne) of Bonny River NB, Debra Elerksoussy (Fouad) of Magog PQ and John Goss Jr. of Bonny River NB; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jane was known by all from her days as the owner and florist of Hatt’s Flowers, numerous years at the St. George Save Easy and seen daily, rain or shine, on her walks through town, stopping to talk to everyone she met on the way.
She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Sister with love for her family that was unsurpassed and will be missed.
Visitation will be held Wednesday 2-4, 6-8PM at the St. George Baptist Church with service held Thursday at 2PM. Private Family interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated by the Family to the Alzheimer’s Society of New Brunswick.
