A. Josephine Frost

1932-2023

A. Josephine Frost

The passing of A. Josephine Frost, wife of the late Louis Vernon Frost of Second Falls NB occurred at her home in Second Falls on March 1, 2023. Born in Second Falls on May 13, 1932, she was daughter of the late (John) Guy and Dorothy (Brockway) Campbell.

A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Josephine is survived by three daughters: Carolyn (Bruce) Jackson of Utopia NB, Debbie (Paul) Brooks of Hampton NB and Laurie (Holden) Dunnett of Fort McMurray AB; four grandchildren: Amanda, Melissa, Jennifer and Jason; seven great-grandchildren: Alexis, Jackson, Abigail, Declan, Abel, Melanie and Daniel; brothers: Jim (Sharon) Campbell of Saint John NB, Gordon (Jacqueline) Campbell of French Village NB and Calvin Campbell of Grand Bay NB; one sister: Jean Hooper of St. Stephen NB; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by siblings: Guy, Donald, Harold, Stanley, Pauline, Evelyn and Joan.

Josephine was a devoted mother and wife who loved being a homemaker. She truly loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, so much so that she hopped on a plane to Alberta and flew for the first time at age 87 to see them. A hard worker, Josephine never missed a wreath season in memory and she could rake blueberries faster than those a fraction of her age. She loved being in the garden tending to her flowers and enjoyed watching the birds. Josephine was a long time member of the Second Falls Baptist Church. She was a devoted believer in Jesus Christ her Redeemer and spent much of her later years in daily devotions and prayer. Her caring heart will always be treasured by her family and friends.
