Stephen Vance Anthony

It is with broken hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Stephen Vance Anthony which occurred on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at his residence in Utopia. Stephen was born on April 13, 1956 in Blacks Harbour to the late Waitstill and Frances (Barry) Anthony. He is survived by his loving children: Danielle Breau (Christopher) of Canal, Ryan Anthony (Mallory) of St. George and stepson Logan McKee (Addie) of Beaver Harbour; one grandson, Grae Anthony; special friend, Kim Polar; niece and nephew, as well as aunts, uncles and many cousins. In addition to his parents, Stephen was predeceased by his brother Waitstill "Leigh" Anthony.

Stevie worked as an Industrial Mechanic for many years at NB Power. He had an avid love for Mustangs and could often be found tinkering in his garage working on building his dream car.

In his younger years Stevie played hockey and baseball. He enjoyed racing snowmobiles and spending time in the woods with his hunting partner Stephen Boyd. 

Stevie was a devoted father, and grandfather to his growing family. Always putting his children first and offering help and guidance in any way he could. The love he had for his family was unending.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the funeral home with visitation on Friday, November 25th, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, November 26th 2022 at 2:00 pm. Interment is St. George Rural Cemetery will follow the service. Memorial donations may be made to the St. George Food Bank and would be appreciated by the family.
