Eva "Candace" Mantha

The unexpected passing of Eva "Candace" Mantha occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on October 17, 2022. Born at Geraldton ON on May 18, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Mantha and Rosabelle Menzies.

A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her daughter; Misty (David) Flynn of Mohannes NB, her son; Donald "Mitch" (Diane) Farrow of Sudbury ON, seven grandchildren: Clayton (Lindsey) Farrow, Stephanie Farrow, Jacob, Ethan and Riley Flynn, Jennifer and Katherine Wagner, three great grand children: Miles, Taylor and Tyler as well as several cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter Debra Marlene Farrow-Wagner.

Prior to her retirement, Candace worked several years in the office administration-computer field for several companies and business's in Ontario. She moved to New Brunswick in 2020 with her daughter Misty and her family to begin a new adventure. She was an avid outdoors person who enjoyed gardening, the outdoors in general or just sitting around a campfire socializing. She also enjoyed singing, music and her greatest musical passion, "Elvis". She also had a fondness for collecting all things native. Candace also loved spending time and participating in activities with her family, being around a computer and always up for a good game of cards, especially 63's. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her.
