Nelson "Eric" O'Neill
1949-2022
The passing of Nelson "Eric" O'Neill of Grand Manan NB occurred at the Grand Manan Hospital, Grand Manan NB on August 2, 2022. Born in North Head NB on August 11, 1949, he was a son of the late Bernard and Mary (Daggett) O'Neill.
Eric is survived by step children, Heather Worden, Krista Arsenault (Ted) and Douglas Stein; step grandchildren, Tyler Worden, Connor Arsenault and Sean Clarke and a great grandchild on the way; one brother, Phillip O’Neill (Cathy) and their three children, Duane O’Neill, Trevor O'Neill (Andria) and Erica Ingalls (Greg); several great and great great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Eric was predeceased by his loving companion, Barbie Stein.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. As keeping with Eric's wishes there will be no public services held. A private family interment service will be held at the Hillside Cemetery, Seal Cove NB at a later date. In Eric's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
