Belva Mildred McIntyre

  The passing of Belva Mildred McIntyre, wife of the late James McIntyre occurred at the Passamaquoddy Lodge in Saint Andrews NB on June 20, 2022 with her daughter and sister by her bedside. Born on January 7, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Vera Hawkins of Beaver Harbour, NB. A loving mother, grandmother and sister. Belva is survived by her children: Angela (Terry) Acton of St. Stephen, NB, David McIntyre of Pennfield, NB and Darren (Jodi) McIntyre of Guilford Connecticut; grandchildren: Travis (Elyse) Acton, Isabelle McIntyre, Chelsea McIntyre, J.D. McIntyre and Brett McIntyre; brother: Wayne (Faith) Hawkins of Blacks Harbour, NB; sisters: Anita (Gary) Frye of Quispamsis, NB and Violet McKinley of Pennfield, NB as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and Husband, Belva is predeceased by brother: Ronald Hawkins; brother in-law: Jamie McKinley and infant grandson: Zachary Acton.

 

  Belva loved her children and grandchildren and she was very proud of them all. She loved her cats and nature. Belva loved walking and she loved to shop. She had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. She enjoyed the time that she spent with her family. Belva always looked forward to her Sunday breakfast outings at the Irving with her brothers. She loved going on road trips and adventures with her sister Anita and she especially loved her time spent with her cherished cousin and friend Shirley Stewart. Belva will be sadly missed.

 

  The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Passamaquoddy Lodge for their respect, compassion, love and kindness they provided to Belva during her stay.

 

 

  Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. In keeping with Belva's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In her memory, donations to the Alzheimers Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
