Udo Buerkle
1939-2022
Udo Buerkle, Born July 1st 1939 in Reutlingen Germany, Udo passed quietly at his home in Chamcook NB on Tuesday May 31st 2022 with Beth, his wife of 54 years by his side. He is survived by his wife, his three children Poppy Balser (Robert), Owen Buerkle (Renee), and Rosie Burley (Erick) as well as grandchildren Nick, Lily, Alice, Max, and Kai and his sister Edith Kampffmeyer.
A research scientist, woodworker, craftsman, artist, mechanic, devoted farmer, hobbyist engineer, husband, and father, Udo left the world in the same way that he had lived his life - on his own terms. He will be missed.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. In keeping with Udo's wishes, there will be no visiting or funeral service. In his memory, donations to the Charlotte County Volunteer Center or to your local Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
