Brock Sherman Daggett
1951-2022

It is with broken hearts and sadness that the family of Brock Sherman Daggett announce his sudden passing which occurred on May 21, 2022 at his residence on Grand Manan NB. Born on Grand Manan NB on February 4, 1951, he was a son of the late Douglas Daggett and Geraldine (Brown) Ingersoll. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, in addition to his wife of 48 years, Florena, Brock is survived by his children: Brock Jr. (April), Sylas (Vanessa) and Martin; his grandchildren: Jackson, Drake, Paige, Kohen and Nash; five sisters; one brother; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Brock was predeceased by his youngest brother: Bryce Daggett.
Brock spent 42 years working for MG Fisheries, whether it be purse seining herring in the summers or working within the company store. He was a dedicated employee whom was very appreciative of the Green Family. Brock spent all lobster seasons on back of a boat with the Morse's and Guptill's. At 69 years old, Brock retired.
Many of his younger years were spent at the Grand Manan
Curling Rink on the ice and maintaining the building. Brock was a man
of few words and was always carrying a smile. He enjoyed the social
aspect of working at MG Fisheries, he loved the conversations with all
the fishermen. After his retirement you could find Brock on one of the
local wharfs, boat watching or sitting in his chair watching the news,
the Blue Jays games or listening to his music at a loud volume.
A service will be held on
