In her earlier years Ann worked for a short time for Connors Brothers in Blacks Harbour. After her children arrived she devoted her time to her family and home. Ann enjoyed board games, especially Pichnoc, and playing Bingo when she had the chance. She was an avid knitter and could be found doing puzzles and crossword puzzles in her spare time. Ann was a lover of music, especially classic country music and enjoyed listening to her son Edmund and daughter Noreen singing on stage. In her later years, Ann enjoyed a nice glass of Red Wine and spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren, who became her life and treasure.
