Michael Allan Stewart

The passing of Michael Allan Stewart of Pennfield NB occurred peacefully at Bobby's Hospice, Saint John NB on December 2, 2021. Born in Blacks Harbour NB on December 19, 1964, he was a son of Allan Stewart and the late Ruth (Barwell) Stewart. A loving father, grandfather, son and brother, Mike is survived by one son: Darren (Sherry) Stewart of Fredericton NB; daughters: Sachairi (Joseph) Myshral of Fredericton NB, Cierra Stewart of Saint John NB and Anna Lynn Matthews (Patrick Rinchart) of Saint John NB; grandchildren: Kegan, Allison, Jace, Charlotte, Tobias and Nova; his father : Allan (Pauline) Stewart of Bethel NB; one brother: Paul Stewart of Pennfield NB; his sister: Sherry Legere of Halifax NS; his former wife: Shawna Hooper of Pennfield NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mike worked at various locations in the St. George area but would be widely recognized from working at the local Save Easy and the Redemption Center where he met everyone with a smile. He was mechanical by heart and loved tinkering with all things mechanical and he especially loved riding and repairing motorcycles. He enjoyed playing guitar and loved Christian and many other genres of music. Mike will be remembered as a giving person and a very hard worker. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at St. Mark's Anglican Church, St. George NB with visiting on Monday from 6-8 pm. The service will be held at the church on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mary Ann Langmaid officiating followed by the interment in the St. George Rural Cemetery. Due to Covid 19 Protocals, proof of vaccination and ID are required to attend visitation and service. In Mike's memory, donations to St. Mark's Anglican Church, Bobby's Hospital or to your local food bank would be appreciated by the family.
