William "Douglas" Justason

At his residence at Pocologan NB on November 26, 2021, Mr. William "Douglas" Justason, beloved husband of Lorraine Dorothy (Leavitt) Justason. Born at Saint John NB on April 8, 1948, he was a son of the late Ernest and Agnes (Lloyd) Justason. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, he is survived by his wife Lorraine, sons: William "Tony" Justason of Lepreau NB and Rocky Justason (Tina Wilhelm) of Utopia NB, three grandchildren; Tyler, Hailey and Isaiah, brother; Kevin Justason of Pocologan NB and sister; Joyce (Mike) McQuarrie of Pennfield NB as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter; Theresa, brothers: John Lloyd, Allison, Gene and Randy.

Prior to his retirement, Doug worked as a self employed laborer and fisherman for several years. Either on the water or clam flats, he was at home there. He also loved working in the woods cutting timber. Doug also was a classic car enthusiast and loved 60's rock and roll. He could be seen around the area driving his classic car that resembled the car from Grease. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Charlotte County Extra Mural for their kind and compassionate care shown to Doug, which made it possible for him to spend his final days at home. They are greatly appreciated.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday at 1 pm with Father Rolando Suplido officiating. The interment will be held at the Pennfield Rural Cemetery, Pennfield NB on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 am.
