Cindy Jane Winters

At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB March 1, 2021, Cindy Jane Winters of Pocologan NB, beloved wife of the late Terry Douglas Cox. Born at Saint John NB on January 20, 1960 she was the daughter of the late W. Bernard and Hazel (Mealy) Winters.

A loving mother, grandmother and lifelong friend, she is survived by her son: Jason Cox (Vanessa Richard) of Pocologan NB, her daughter: Tara Cox (Zachary Wright) of L'Etange NB , her grandchildren; Chase, Jaxon, Leland, Hunter, Colby, Madison and Ainsley, several cousins as well as her lifelong friend Wanda Bent. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Terry Cox.

Prior to her illness Cindy worked as a laborer for Connors Brothers as well as various food business's in the area. She was a lifelong resident of Pocologan and known to everyone there. Cindy enjoyed the simple life, enjoying her passion, "puzzles. In her recent years, her visits from her family, especially her grandchildren were something she frequently waited for. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Resting at the Pocologan Baptist Church from where the service will be held on Saturday at 2pm with Rev. Reg Ward officiating. Interment will be held at the Pennfield Rural Cemetery in the spring. Visiting at the church on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Please be advised that all Covid 19 protocols and guidelines must be followed at all times. In Cindy's memory, donations to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
