The Province of NB has announced that effective July 31, 2021 the COVID 19 Mandatory order will no longer be in effect. With this news, COVID 19 Operational plans will no longer be required. Restrictions we have come accustom to over the last 16 months will be eased such as mandatory masking, social distancing and contact tracing.

The St. George Funeral Home will always keep the health and safety of our staff and clients at the forefront. Even though masks will no longer be required to enter our facility, if you are an individual who prefers to wear a mask, please feel free to do so. Our staff will always have ours on hand and will gladly mask up if you ask us to. We want all our families to feel as safe and secure as possible.

We will remain vigilant in our cleaning and sanitizing practices and we still encourage those attending visitations and services to maintain social distancing practices when able to. Hand sanitizer will be available for use at all entrances to the building and we do encourage you to use them upon entering.

To respect the needs and wishes of our families, we will allow them to choose for themselves the protocols they wish to have set in place. If a family chooses to have masking and social distancing be implemented for their services we will place signage at the entrance to notify those attending of the family's wishes. If you are planning on attending a visitation or a funeral service, you should come prepared to mask up if asked. We will always try out best to have masks on hand for those who don't have one available to use.

As we move forward and adjust to our new normal, living with COVID 19, we thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we aim to keep everyone both safe and comfortable and we ask that you continue to exercise patience, understanding and most importantly, kindness as we come to terms with these changes and slowly begin to move forward.
