Brendon Walter Armstrong
At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on April 14, 2015, Mr. Brendon Walter Armstrong, husband of Mrs. Leona (Wilcox) Armstrong of Blacks Harbour NB. Born in Blacks Harbour NB on May 14, 1937, he was a son of the late Robert and Leota (Noddin) Armstrong. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, in addition to his wife, Leona, he is survived by one son: Robert (Wendy) Armstrong of Blacks Harbour NB; one daughter: Audrey (Darren) Johnson of Pennfield NB; four grandchildren: Matthew and Nicole Johnson and Emma and Logan Armstrong; sisters: Leora (George) Murchison of Grand Bay-Westfield NB and Mary Ellen (Armstrong) Sabeans of Sussex NB; one sister-in-law: Shirley Armstrong of Ontario; one aunt: Norva Hatt of St. George NB and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother: Gordon.

Prior to retirement, Brendon worked as a self employed fisherman. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed both hunting and fishing or just being in the woods. He was a loving family man who found no greater pleasure than being in the company of his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed and forever loved by all who knew him.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the Christ Church (Anglican), Pennfield NB with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held from the church on Friday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Canon Keith Osborne officiating. The interment will take place in the parish cemetery at a later date. In Brendon's memory, donations to Charlotte County Cancer, the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
