Mary "Amy" Margaret Eldridge
1926-2015
A loving mother, grandmother and sister, Amy is survived by her son, Allan (Dawn) Eldridge of St. George NB; three granddaughters: Amber (Justin), Ashley (Kyle) and Wendy (Rahul); great grandchildren: Savannah, Georgia, Daisy, Dixie as well as additions in May and July; her sister, Marion Tidd, brothers: Reggie and Albert as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, special nieces: Shirley and Elaine and special friends; Marlene and Sherman Wadlin. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Gib in 2004, her brother, Earl and sister, Theresa Sullivan.
Prior to her retirement, Amy worked at various jobs including waitressing and packing at Connors Brothers. She was a former member of the Brunswick Curling Club in Blacks Harbour and the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary Branch #39. She also enjoyed knitting, quilting and playing crib and spending time in her sewing circle.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB from where the service will be held from Chapel on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Brad Doskas officiating. Visiting at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Interment in the Pennfield Rural Cemetery in the spring. In Amy’s memory, donations to the Charlotte County SPCA, New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
