Pearson Wells Harmon

At Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen NB on October 27, 2014, Mr. Pearson Wells Harmon, husband of the late Daisy (Hatt) Harmon formerly of Digdeguash NB. Born at Digdeguash NB on December 22, 1930, he was a son of the late Henry and Lila (Thomas) Harmon. A loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, Pearson is survived by five sons: David (Lucille) Harmon of British Columbia, Billy (Annette) Harmon of Chamcook NB, Sonny (Judy) Harmon of Bocabec NB, Murdock Harmon (Angel Casey) of St. Stephen NB and Tony (Kim) Harmon of Bocabec NB; one daughter: Shirley Buchanan of British Columbia; special daughter-in-law: Debbie Voutt Harmon of Bethel NB; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; one brother: Leo (Janet) Harmon of St. Andrews NB; two sisters: Hazel (Fred) Rossi of British Columbia and Bessie Holland of Saint John NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his wife and parents, Pearson was predeceased by a son in infancy, Frederick; three brothers: Henry, Frederick and Edward; five sisters: Helen Gowan, Mildred Landry, Nellie Borthwick, Freda Young and Marion McAleenan and by one son-in-law: Rick Buchanan.

Prior to retirement, Pearson worked around the local area as a Painter. He enjoyed gardening and painting his lawn ornaments and loved to make Peanut Butter Cookies for his beloved grandchildren. Pearson was a gentle man who loved spending his days surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren whom meant the world to him. He was a member of the Heaven's Gate Gospel Church in Seeley's Cove NB.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Wayne Matheson officiating followed by the interment at the Bocabec Community Cemetery. In Pearson's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
