He was predeceased by his nephew, Philip McNeill.

Burke was a big man with a big heart and wicked sense of humor. He will be missed. He was affectionately nicknamed “Uncle Buck” by his nephews and nieces. He loved his family and was generous to a fault with anyone who was in need. An avid reader, Burke was knowledgeable on many different subjects. He loved to have a good chat with his family and friends. The family would like to thank Nurse Jason on 5CN for his compassion and friendship over these past weeks, you will never be forgotten.
