She was born on January 29, 1921 at Lord’s Cove to the late Merton and Eliza (Doughty) Stuart. Mildred was a dedicated wife to late the Chandler Pendleton. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her son, Donald (Sandra) of PEI; her daughter, Brenda Cline (Laurie) of Deer Island; grandchildren: Jill (Dean), Cody (Natasha), Marti (Adam), Susan (Cory), Sean (Joey) and Kristy (Philip); great-grandchildren: Teagan Worth and Ryker Zeman; sisters-in-law: Vera and Joyce Stuart; brother-in-law, Keith Pendleton (Belman) and several nieces and nephews. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Chandler; son, Arthur; sister, Hazel; twin sister, Myrtle and brothers: Herbert, Donald, Percy and Lawrence.

Mildred was a faithful member of Lord’s Cove Church of Christ attending Church regularly while she was able and encouraging all of her family to be involved in the church as well.

While raising her family in Lord’s Cove, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking and gardening. In 2005, Mildred moved into the Senior Citizens Apartments, where she lived until 2011. She then moved into the Fundy Nursing Home, where her greatest pleasure was having her friends and family come to visit. The Nursing Home provided great care for Mildred. She enjoyed all the activates there; singing, sermons on Sunday, Bible Study, bingo, bowling, crafts with children and baking. She was a kind soul who was loved by many.
