1949-2012

Donald Royden VanTassel
At his residence on July 2, 2012, Mr. Donald Royden VanTassel of St. Andrews NB. Born at Blacks Harbour NB on May 16, 1949, he was a son of the late Joseph and Ina (Patterson) VanTassel. A loving father, grandfather and brother, he is survived by his two daughters; Mary VanTassel of Pocologan NB and Cindy (Merle) Leslie of Deer Island NB, two grandchildren; Kyle Leslie and Blake VanTassel, four sisters; Lottie (Elmer) Cook of Pennfield NB, Faye (Wayne) Patterson of Beaver Harbour NB, Anna Belle (Brian) Cook and Joan (Duane) Cook both of L’Etang NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by two brothers, John and Douglas.

In keeping with Donald’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. In his memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB

So Sorry to hear of Donnie's Passing. I can remember Donnie being around our Canal home with my brothers, he was always very kind and considerate. He will be missed by all who knew him.
