Harold Clayton  Cline
At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on January 28, 2012, Mr. Harold Clayton Cline, husband of Mrs. Nancy (Lambert) Cline of Deer Island NB. Born at Campobello NB on June 28, 1939, he was a son of the late Walter and Ella (Lank) Cline. A loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle, he is survived by three daughters; Maria (Ross) Newman of Waweig NB, Mary (Rodney) Tinker of Tower Hill NB and Christina (Peter) Funke of Calgary AB, two sons; Clayton Cline of Fort McMurray AB and Anthony (Lisa) Hall of Valley Road NB, one step son, Francis Doughty of Deer Island NB, seven grandchildren; Vanessa, Patrick, Mason, Sarah, Joseph, Jessica and Natasha, one brother, Carson Cline of Deer Island NB, two sisters; Lottie (John) Atkinson of Nova Scotia and Wanda (Randy) Hubert of St. Stephen NB, special nieces; Carla Cline of Gagetown NB and Cora Jean of Nova Scotia and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Harold was predeceased by one son in infancy, Graham Kenneth Cline and by one brother, Carlton Cline.

Prior to his retirement, Harold worked for the Department of Transportation with both the Ferry and Road Crew. In his spare time, he enjoyed being surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor up until the end and kept the whole family laughing with the stories he loved to tell. He enjoyed going for drives around Deer Island with his wife Nancy and taking his family for boat rides. Harold was known as an animal lover who spoiled his brother, Carson’s dogs,Buckshot and Dolly. His stories, sense of humor and loving spirit will be missed greatly by his family.

As keeping with Harold’s wishes there will be no visitation. A service will be held on Tuesday,Jan 31 2012,from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel at the St. George Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating. In Harold’s memory, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
