Wesley "Skinny" Arnold Cook
1924-2012
Prior to his retirement Skinny served overseas for the Canadian Army with the North Shore Regiment as an Infantry Soldier and later to Motor Transport Corps. Following the war, he served at Camp Utopia as a Dispensary Clerk. He later worked for Connors Bros for several years as a Foreman. Skinny was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed both hunting and fishing and was a die hard Blue Jay fan. His family and friends will fondly remember Skinny’s recitation of poetry, especially at Christmas and he can still be heard reciting such classics as “The Cremation of Sam McGee”. His smile and humor will always be loved and remembered by all who knew him.
