Sorry to learn of the passing of your father.
My fondest memories of Uncle Herb are when we tramped hay (before you were born, Jill). He had a wooden wagon with high sides and a team (I think) of horses pulled it. We stayed in the wagon, he (Leigh, the O'Neill boys?)pitched freshly mowed hay into the wagon and we tramped it down to make room for more. It was fun, but hard work in the heat of a summer day. Our pay was an ice cream. My other memory is of the beautiful colt, Friday, in the back pasture at Nana's. What a special horse that was.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Lydia
