Frances Isabel Eldridge

Frances Isabel Eldridge passed away peacefully on January 21st, 2012, at the Fundy Nursing Home in Black's Harbour, N.B.. Born in Beaver Harbour, N.B. on July 22, 1918, she was the daughter of Florence (Bennett) and Spencer Eldridge. After graduation from high school in Boston, she moved to Montreal to work at CBC for the National Film Board of Canada and later with the RCMP and then finished her career with the National Film Board of Canada in Toronto. She then moved home to Beaver Harbour to care for her aging parents. Frances was a loving and caring person in her community. She loved her Church and was active in the Church until she became ill.

Frances is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers Gordon, Millen, Merrill and Harold and many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Frances’ wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held from the Beaver Harbour Baptist Church, Beaver Harbour NB on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Brent Wagstaff officiating. Interment will take place at the Beaver Harbour Community Cemetery in the Spring. In lieu of flowers donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Canada or to the Beaver Harbour Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
