Perry "Dale" Wright
Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB, surrounded by family, the death of Perry “Dale” Wright, husband of Edith (Beal) Wright of Pennfield NB occurred on Thursday, January 12, 2012. Dale was born in Beaver Harbour on April 8th, 1938 to the late Marvin and Esther (Eldridge) Wright. In addition to his wife, Edith, he is survived by sons: Mark Wright (Allegra Badiali) of Beaver Harbour NB and Duane Wright (Tanya Russell) of Pennfield NB; daughters: Sheri Mahar (Mackie Banks) of Pennfield NB; Sally-Jo Ritchie (Eddie) of Pennfield NB; Heather Cooke (Brad) of St. George NB; grandchildren: Kyle and Kris Wright; Natasha and Samantha Mahar; Brian Ritchie; Sara-Jade and Gaige Russell-Richards and Griffin Cooke; one brother-in-law: Boyd Beal and several cousins. Dale was predeceased by his first wife Shirley Wright (Baldwin).

Prior to his retirement, Dale was a self employed Painter. He was an avid hunter, gardener, local historian and was a member of the Beaver Harbour Archives. Dale’s passion in his later years was the Sunday afternoon Jam Sessions at the Stella Maris Hall in Blacks Harbour. His friendly smile will be missed by all who knew him.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB from where the service will be held from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Saturday at 2 pm with Rev. Grant Alcorn officiating. The interment will take place at the Christ Church (Anglican) Cemetery in the spring. In Dale’s memory donations to the I.W.K. Children's Hospital, the St. George Food Bank or to the Stella Maris Sunday Jam Sessions would be appreciated by the family.
