James Burton Hunter

James “Jim” Burton Hunter of Beaver Harbour, N.B., passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, N.B., on Friday, August 20, 2010. Born in Pennfield, N.B., Jim was predeceased by his parents Keith and Carrie (Akerley) Hunter, his grandparents, Robert “Bob” and Evelyn (Justason) McDowell and by a sister Betty. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his one daughter, Darlene Frances of Beaver Harbour, N.B. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim was a weir fisherman and a labour worker by trade. In his younger years his passion was hunting and fishing.

By request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place and the interment will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, donations can be made in memory of Jim to the charity of one’s choice.
