Clayton was well known in the community of St. George. Prior to his retirement he worked for the NB Liquor Commission, St. George Store No. 10 for 38 years, many of which in the role of store Manager. He knew everyone by name and was known for his kind and friendly nature.

He was also known for his love of cars and drag racing. All knew who owned the shiny Pontiac and GMCs parked on Main Street. If he were not found out in the garage tinkering with his race car Country Boys, he could be found watching a race on TV with one of his friends. Thank you to his friends, over the past few years, who continued to visit and reminded him of these things he loved.

A special thanks to his longtime friend Elwood for his Friday drives over the past few years which he looked forward to.

We would also like to thank the staff of the Charlotte County Hospital who took such good care of him in his final days.

Arrangements in care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. There will be no visitation. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at the St. George Catholic Cemetery, Upper L’Etang NB in the spring.
