Steven Reid Patterson

1967-2024

Steven Reid Patterson

The passing of Steven Reid Patterson, partner of Ava A. Mullins, occurred unexpectedly at their residence in Blacks Harbour NB on February 13, 2024. Born in Blacks Harbour NB on March 4, 1967, he was a son of Wesley and Josephine (Hanley) Patterson.

A loving and devoted partner, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, Steven will be forever loved by his partner, Ava; his parents, Wesley and Josephine Patterson of Back Bay NB; his brothers: Thomas (Laurie) Patterson and Scott (Daisy) Patterson both of Back Bay NB; his pets who were his babies, Milo and Trump; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Steven was currently employed with Cooke Aquaculture in St. George. He was a very sociable guy and had the ability to strike up conversations with strangers at the drop of a hat. An animal lover, Steven could often be found outside feeding the deer and the birds and any other critter that may have come around. In his free time, he loved being in the company of his family and especially loved spending time with his brothers, who truly were his best friends. At family gatherings, everyone looked forward to Steven’s cooking and he never disappointed, always bringing the best dish there was. To know Steven was to love him and his sense of humor, smile and devotion to his loved ones will be missed every day by all who knew him.
