Mary Eileen McCarten

The passing of Mary Eileen McCarten, formerly of St. George NB occurred at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour NB on November 19, 2020. Born in St. George NB on February 21, 1927, she was a daughter of the late James and Margaret (Murray) McCarten.

A loving sister, aunt and friend, Mary Eileen is survived by one sister: Jenny Donovan of Calgary AB; and by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date at the St. George Catholic Church, St. George NB and Mary Eileen will be laid to rest in the parish cemetery. In Mary Eileen's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
