Joshua Walter Gray Hanley

Peacefully at his residence at Seeley's Cove NB on August 7, 2020, Mr. Joshua Walter Gray Hanley, beloved husband and partner of Vicky Sabrina Jones. Born at Saint John NB on January 13, 1989 he was the son of Shelly E. (Lambert) Lawson and the late Peter Eldon Hanley.

A loving husband and partner, father, son, son in law, grandson and family treasure to many, he is survived by his cherished wife Vicky, his children; Jami, Sawyer and Jax, sister; Jazmine Hanley (Tyler McGarrigle), his niece Leah and nephew; Kane, his mother; Shelly (James) Lawson of Deer Island NB, paternal grandmother; Marilyn Hanley of Pennfield NB, aunts and uncles: Wendy (Paul) Hawkins and Kevin (Kelly) Hanley both of Pennfield NB, Edra Hanley (Will) of Central Hampstead NB and Melissa Hanley (Doug) of Willow Grove NB, father and mother in law; Bill and Danielle Jones of Seeley's Cove NB, sister in law Tamara Cassey and brother in law Nick. as well as several great aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Peter Hanley, paternal grandfather Eldon Hanley and maternal grandparents Gray and Faye Lambert.

Prior to his illness Josh was a fisherman by trade which put him in one of the places where he loved to be, out on the water. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as being a passionate sports fan, especially hockey which he truly loved both as a player and a diehard Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Josh was also a true family oriented guy and loyal friend to the end as he always cherished and valued the time he spent with his family and his many friends. His strength and courage will always be remembered and his kind soul will not be forgotten.

A time of Celebration and Remembrance to celebrate Josh's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #40 on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 4-6 pm. In Josh's memory, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
